The YPN is wrapping up a yearlong partnership with the Central Dakota Humane Society (CDHS) on Wednesday, July 9. CDHS will be hosting YP’ers at their facility in Mandan for a barbeque social. In true YPN fashion, members will be giving back by helping out with landscaping and participating in a dog walking certification process. Over the past year, YP’ers have supported the animal shelter by offering volunteer support at several events, directing funds to the organization through YPN events and helping to create awareness for the organization and their needs. This was the first year the YPN has partnered with a nonprofit. YPN Vice President TJ Jerke was instrumental in fostering the partnership. Jerke commented, “It’s something the network has always wanted to do, we’re a community-focused organization and this was a great opportunity for us to give back.” Come and help support the CDHS foundation on July 9!
