Jesse is a Senior at the University of Mary, studying Business Administration, and also the owner of Reach Digital Marketing. He learned the world of business at a young age, helping work for Sparling Construction, a company owned by his dad. At first he started doing the basic things, like answering phones, and setting appointments. This soon evolved into him organizing and running the social media and marketing for the company. This sparked a passion in Jesse for that entrepreneurial lifestyle and thus, last year he started his own business.
When Jesse is not at school or working on projects for his business clients, he can be found enjoying time with his family and friends, and continually working on improving himself. Jesse tries to read at least four to five books a month related to business, marketing or success, which he finds to help keep him motivated.
As a young entrepreneur, Jess understands challenges, but believes that is what entrepreneurs are meant to do, overcome challenges. In the beginning stages of his company, Jesse is learning the balance between scaling too quickly and being able to help as many businesses as he can.
His advice for other young professionals? Always be learning. Jess says, “It was Mark Twain who said, ‘I never let my schooling get in the way of my education.’ I’ve found that to be so true. While I believe schooling is important, I think it’s more important to always be learning outside of school and teaching yourself new skills.”
