Alyssa is a Program Coordinator for Community Options. As a Bismarck native, Alyssa understands the value of investing in her community, as well as committing herself to making a difference in those around her.
As an avid animal lover, she volunteers her time with the Central Dakota Humane society, where she just so happened to have rescued her cat and her three-legged dog Ricky, pictured above.
Alyssa the lives by the mantra “The most rewarding things in life are often the ones that look like they cannot be done.” As such, there’s no doubt she has an overflowing drive to grow personally and professionally.
As an invested member, Alyssa has found the Bismarck-Mandan Young Professional Network to help her better connect to her community, through events and volunteering. If given the chance, she’d tell other young professionals, “To continually educate yourself. Whether it is structured learning, or researching on your own, there are always resources to give you an edge.”
When not working or volunteering, you can find Alyssa fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, golfing or working on flipping an 80-year old house. She hopes to receive a call from HGTV, any day now.
