The Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network (YPN) is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with the Bismarck Cancer Center for one year, from October 2016 through September 2017.
The partnership, which comes about as part of the YPN strategic plan, will allow Bismarck Cancer Center the opportunity to connect with young professionals from around Bismarck-Mandan while providing YPN members with service opportunities throughout the year. The YPN will direct all fundraising and most volunteer efforts for the next year toward the organization.
The Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network accepted applications from network members in June and July and selected three non-profit finalists. Each of the three finalist organizations had the chance to give a short presentation to the YPN Leadership Team in early September and YPN leadership ultimately selected the Bismarck Cancer Center.
“We are excited to have this partnership with the Bismarck Mandan Young Professionals Network,” said Sara Kelsch, Bismarck Cancer Center marketing director. “We feel it will be beneficial to both organizations.”
The YPN would like to thank all the members who nominated non-profit organizations. To learn more about the Bismarck Cancer Center, visit www.bismarckcancercenter.com or attend YPN’s All Hands Fall Kickoff this Wednesday, October 26 at the Bismarck Municipal Golf Course from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
