Winter is here and what is a better way to beat the cold than curling up with a warm bowl of chili and a friendly competition of team bowling! The Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network’s annual Chill-N-Bowl event date has been set for Saturday, February 22. Come spend an entertaining afternoon of mingling with fellow young professionals while supporting a charitable cause. This will be the 6th annual Chill-N-Bowl and this year the committee is proud to be partnering with the Central Dakota Humane Society.
The Chill-N-Bowl will be held at Midway Lanes in Mandan. Chili judging by participating contestants will go from 4:30-6pm followed by ‘Baker System’ bowling from 6-9pm. The cost is $100 per team of four. Each team is required to have at least one active YPN member. Trophies will be presented to the winners of:
- Chili Cook-off
- Team Bowling
- Team Spirit (ie: costumes/ themes)
- Best Team Name
A Grand Champion of the highest combined bowling and chili scores will also be presented with a trophy as well as this prestigious title for the next year. Runners up in each category will receive prizes donated by Midway Lanes.
The Chill-N-Bowl is not only a fun event to help break up the long winter, it is also a great way to connect with other like-minded young professionals as well as giving back to the community. Friends and family are welcome to this event. Please watch for further updates. Hope to see you all there!
