YP Lingo
YP - A young professional (professionals, ages 21-39) Young professionals are architects, bakers, computer specialists, doctors, entrepreneurs, fishermen, gymnasts, hotel managers, investment brokers, judges, kite makers, librarians, musicians, nurses, operations managers, policemen, quality controllers, researchers, sales people, teachers, urologists, veterinarians, wallpaper hangers, YOU, zoologists and everything in between! A professional is simply someone who conducts themselves in a professional manner, we are all young professionals!
YPN - Young Professionals Network – a group of young professionals connected to enhance the social, professional, cultural, and service opportunities for young professionals in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
Wisdom Team - Dedicated community members who serve in an advisory capacity to the Leadership Team.
YP Member - A YP’er who has paid their membership dues ($25 for Chamber members, and $40 for non-Chamber members)
Team Member - A YP’er who is a part of one of our six dedicated teams (Ambassador, Operations, Entrepreneurship, Professional Development, Service, Social). All are welcome to become active team members!
Team Lead - Oversees the day-to-day operations of a team, and is involved with the overall strategic goals of the YPN. Team leads reprent their teams on the Leadership Team.
YP Partner - A financial or in-kind supporter of the Young Professionals Network.
5:01 - An after-work gathering of young professionals, where social and networking opportunities abound.
