Ambassador Program for Partners
Young Professionals recognize that active, energetic, young people make a community a more exciting and fun place to live and work. As a business leader, you understand the importance of developing your workforce for the future. The Bismarck-Mandan Young Professionals Network (YPN) has launched a program to assist you in the attraction and development of your workforce.
The YPN launched the Young Professionals (YP) Ambassador program in January 2006. The Program consists of a dedicated and energetic team of YP's that focus on welcoming new YP's to the Bismarck-Mandan area and connecting them to the community.
YP Ambassadors connect with local businesses to set up meetings with their new employees for lunch, coffee, or perhaps after-work socials. The meetings will be educational in nature, but held in a social setting. We see this as a great way to create awareness about the YPN to new young professionals in the community, as well as a way for businesses to develop a competitive advantage in recruitment and retention of their young employees.
By taking these steps to connect new employees to the community, we believe they will find the Bismarck-Mandan area a welcoming and vibrant place to live.
